Dr. Audrey Janelle is known for her meticulous eye exams, clear communication, and genuine commitment to patient care. Her patients often comment on how detailed and attentive their visits are, and many say it is the most comprehensive exam they have ever had. She is proud to be one of the only optometrists in Okanagan, offering full eye exams in both French and English.
Dr. Janelle completed her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Montreal in 2018, followed by a competitive residency in cornea and contact lens care in 2020. She was awarded the Jean-Louis Blanchard Excellence Award for her outstanding performance. Her clinical interests include specialty contact lenses, myopia control, pediatric care, and emergency eye care. She also regularly lectures on myopia management and advanced lens fitting.
What Dr. Janelle finds most rewarding is helping patients who were once told they could not wear contact lenses, making a meaningful impact during urgent care visits, and building strong relationships with families over time.
When she’s not seeing patients, you can find her skiing, swimming, biking, hiking, or planning her next travel adventure.
