It shouldn’t be a hassle to pay for your appointments. Our friendly staff are well-versed in insurance options and can walk you through what’s covered.
We are able to direct bill any insurance providers registered through the Telus e-Health portal. If we are unable to direct bill your provider, we will provide a detailed receipt for you to submit.

BC Medical Services Plan
There are a number of different services that are covered by the BC Medical Services Plan:
- All eye emergencies are fully covered for patients of all ages. This includes red eyes/any type of eye infection, flashes, floaters, or foreign body removal.
- People with diabetes are fully covered for a portion of their exam as well as people who take medications that may lead to vision problems.
- Children aged 0–11 are eligible to receive free eye exams (with a proper provincial healthcare ID).
- Seniors over the age of 65 are covered for 50% of a full eye exam.
