It shouldn’t be a hassle to pay for your appointments. Our friendly staff are well-versed in insurance options and can walk you through what’s covered.
We are able to direct bill any insurance providers registered through the Telus e-Health portal. If we are unable to direct bill your provider, we will provide a detailed receipt for you to submit.

BC Medical Services Plan
There are a number of different services that are covered by the BC Medical Services Plan:
- BC MSP covers a portion of the exam cost for all eye emergencies. This includes red eyes, any type of eye infection, flashes, floaters, foreign body removal, and other causes of loss of vision.
- People with diabetes or high blood pressure can have a portion of their eye exam covered.
- Children aged 0 to 11 are eligible to receive free eye exams (with a proper provincial health card). Kids 12-18 are eligible to receive partial coverage of their eye exam.
- Seniors over the age of 65 get partial coverage of their eye exam as well.
