Mat Broschak is the proud owner of Orchard Park Optometry, which is now into its 14th year of service to our loyal patients! He graduated from the University of Calgary in 2001 with his Bachelor of Science and went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry training at the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating in 2005. His main focus is primary eye care for all age groups with a special interest in dry eye management and contact lenses, and he enjoys the education aspect of teaching patients all about vision care.
In his free time, he enjoys golf, biking, skiing and all the things the outdoors has to offer. He is an avid traveller and has been to places as far away as Japan and South Africa. OneSight, a non-profit organization that provides free eye care around the world for those less fortunate, is a particular passion of Dr. Broschak, and he has contributed his time at several clinics to provide free glasses and eye care for people in underprivileged countries.

Dr. Keevn Otte joined Orchard Park Optometry in 2015, and became a partner in 2018. He also fits specialty contact lenses such as RGP’s, scleral lenses, and Ortho-K lenses for myopia control.
Dr. Otte also has also completed professional training in nutrition for prevention of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. He is a founding member of the Society of Metabolic Healthcare Practitioners. Keevn’s hobbies include golfing, snowboarding, and traveling with his wife, Bree. He also enjoys spending time outdoors camping, fishing, hiking, and adventuring.
Dr. Jason Snider started with our clinic in 2017, and became a partner in the practice in 2019. Originally from Red Deer, Alberta, Jason graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta in 2010. Three years later, after discovering his passion for optometry, Jason moved to Boston with his wife Rachelle where he attended the New England College of Optometry. He graduated from NECO in the spring of 2017 and was awarded membership to Beta Sigma Kappa, the International Optometric Honor Society. Jason is passionate about the connection between eye health and overall body health, and his goal is to enhance the lives of his patients by improving both. He believes the best recipe for providing outstanding eye care is to build lasting relationships based on a foundation of trust and mutual respect.
Jason is thrilled to be living in beautiful Kelowna! When he is not working, he enjoys the outdoors including hiking, camping and trail running with his wife. Playing sports and reading are also activities he enjoys in his spare time.
